making the home buying process easier
It is all about LEARNING. Learning about yourself. Learning about your needs. Learning about your limits and learning to trust yourself. All of this is part in parcel to buying a home — no matter how many homes you have bought before. I am a firm believer in education. I make it a point to help all my clients learn more about the Home Buying process than they knew before we met. It doesn't matter if you've done this before, or in another state--there is always something to learn. Do you remember the first time you learned to drive? Scary wasn’t it. But now look at you: you can drive while talking on the phone, opening your mail and dipping your fries in a frosty (not recommended)! Point is: you started with all this fear and anxiety about something totally unknown to you. And you overcame it, learned to be comfortable and are now a true pro! Buying a home is much the same.

Once you understand the buying process, you'll want to connect with a lender to create a budget and be approved to buy. In this process, your credit, income, debt & assets will be looked at in order to achieve a pre-approval. Not sure who to talk to? Below are two links to two different Loan Officers that have always been over the top helpful to my clients. Feel free to reach out to one of them.
Once you've obtained your pre-approval and we have discussed your goals and timeline, you are ready to begin house hunting. The goal is to find the perfect home for you. Start with doing your own online searches with Zillow or REALTOR.com, make notes of things you like in homes and things that concern you. This will be the beginning of how we framework our search. Don't worry, I will be with you every step of the way.
